The ability of students to be able to access the curriculum varies due to a number of factors. For example, in the case of proficiency in English, students may need additional support to aid their learning of both English and access to other subject areas. We are able to cater for a number of levels of support, which range from additional support from the class teacher, in class support from a specialist teacher, to our of class support either individually or in small groups. The purpose of this support is to provide the skills necessary for students to reach a level where they can function on their own in the classroom. External support may also be sought to address specific student needs.
